When you’re creating products with hundreds of teams working around the world, maintaining brand unity with a design language system is a Herculean challenge. Yet users' high expectations today mean size is no excuse. All companies, from small start-ups to global organizations, are expected to offer clear and cohesive brand experiences.
However, consistency without flexibility can limit the possibilities for differentiated brand expression.
