Generally speaking, this area encompasses a very diverse and flexible service offering. Important individual aspects of the translation process, such as the different workflow steps and QM criteria, can be arranged according to the requirements of specific customers and projects for various branches of industry. In addition to this, we are able to offer a considerable number of language combinations. In line with our certification according to ISO 17100:2015, all translations are only assigned to native speakers of the target language who have also specialised in the relevant subject area. In tsd’s standard workflow, which adheres to the four eyes principle, every translated text is proofread by a second qualified Linguist. A large proportion of our translation projects are processed using translation management systems (TMS). This software includes a translation store, also called the translation memory (TM), in which all translation projects are saved according to the specific customer in bilingual or multilingual form. We are experienced in the translation of a broad spectrum of text types including product catalogues, manuals and operating instructions, advertising and communications documents, publications, expert reports, websites and many more. Discussion regarding work instructions, style guides, terminology or reference projects which translators can use as a guide during their work should always form part of the communication at the start of a project.
