LAYER®Vault by Dracula Technologies is an advanced 2-in-1 energy solution designed for IoT applications, combining ambient light energy harvesting with integrated storage on a single flexible film. Released in January 2024, LAYER®Vault enables autonomous operation of low-power devices across a variety of sectors, such as Smart Buildings, Smart Homes, and Asset Tracking, eliminating the need for traditional batteries or super-capacitors. By integrating both an organic photovoltaic (OPV) layer and an energy storage layer, LAYER®Vault ensures uninterrupted power, even in low-light and dark conditions, offering a sustainable and cost-efficient alternative for IoT devices.
