We are developing manufacturing and materials technology of sensors in orthopedic, sports, and cardiological rehabilitation. These will take the form of smart shoe insoles and smart patches. They will present a new quality in terms of conducting the rehabilitation process thanks to small mass, high flexibility, wireless operation, and low price. These attributes will allow monitoring of treatment of patients in the conditions of their undisturbed living, outside medical facility, while adjusting recommendations to the current state and thus improving individual and system efficiency of the healthcare. Furthermore, with the employment of printed electronics technology, the final devices will be manufactured in large-scale processes, allowing relatively low prices and making the solutions available to a broad group of customers.
