EKTAFLEX Functional Printing Solutions: Printed Electronics and Security
With the slogan "you press the button, we do the rest," George Eastman put the first simple camera into the hands of a world of consumers in 1888. In so doing, he made a cumbersome and complicated process easy to use and accessible to nearly everyone.
Just as Eastman had a goal to make photography "as convenient as the pencil," Kodak continues to expand the ways images touch people's daily lives.
Kodak is a technology company focused on imaging. We provide – directly and through partnerships with other innovative companies – hardware, software, consumables, and services to customers in functional printing, graphic arts, commercial print, publishing, packaging, and entertainment and commercial films.
Kodak’s Printed Electronics business serves customers through its EKTAFLEX functional printing portfolio of pre-press products for high-resolution flexography. With EKTAFLEX, you can print smaller, at higher resolution and with faster throughput – from plates patterned by Kodak for you, or in-house with your own EKTAFLEX system.
Kodak also offers contract manufacturing of highly-transparent, highly-conductive custom patterned films using a manufacturing process leveraging EKTAFLEX technology and electroless copper plating. These films are well suited for transparent RF applications, transparent heaters, and other applications.
