Cleo
Démo VR
Information
Cléo integrates Mixed Reality, live dance and drawing. Inspired by Agnès Varda's 1962 film Cléo de 5 à 7, this work reimagines female identity in a digital context — exploring how it is constructed under the constant gaze of social media and virtual worlds. Through the interplay between a real body and a virtual avatar, the performer leads the audience on an inner journey: when Cléo exists under an inescapable digital gaze, how can she recognize her true self?

Artist / Studio biography
Coco CHEN is a Taiwanese new media artist working at the threshold of the virtual and the real. Trained in Spatial Design and now rooted in New Media Art, she builds immersive environments that interrogate the entanglement of body, gender, and digital corporeality. Her practice draws on VR, AR, and gamified performance to examine how technology mediates physical perception and reconstructs embodied narratives.
