Artist / Studio biography
Édouard Peurichard and Cécile Morelle are a duo both in life and on stage. Édouard is a stage director, circus artist, writer-artist and videographer. Cécile is a stage director, performer and writer. Their aim is to break down the boundaries of theatre by creating hybrid forms at the crossroads of several disciplines. A key focus of their work is to reach out to audiences and create genuine encounters, placing human relationships at the heart of the creative process — from the earliest stages of conception to the presentation of the work, sometimes in non-traditional spaces. Together, they develop light, inventive forms rooted in encounter and experimentation.
