Learning Objectives: 

  • Implement updated changes in the practice of medicine within day to day practice of General Internal Medicine. 
  • Describe how the use of health communities, including social media, ethics, education and professional wellbeing, can increase access and engagement with the health care system. 
  • Identify methods that medical professionals can use to promote, advocate and change policies that affect the health of our patients.
