Chefmaster, founded in 1938 in Southern California by pastry chefs, quickly earned a reputation for high-quality food colorings. In 1984, it was acquired by Byrnes & Kiefer Co., a family-owned bakery ingredients supplier with over 120 years of experience. Under Byrnes & Kiefer, Chefmaster expanded its product range and grew its national and international presence. Today, still managed by the fourth generation of the Byrnes family, Chefmaster is known for its commitment to customer service and innovative baking, coloring, and decorating products.
