Innovation Hub

The Innovation Hub is a virtual networking community for the occupational therapy workforce who have an active interested in leading change.

Anyone who identifies, develops, and implements creative solutions to common challenges or opportunities encountered in daily practice is a change maker.

Changes can be big or small and include things like:

• Improving or streamlining how occupational therapy processes like triage, assessment or discharge are carried out
• The introduction of new products, assistive technologies
• Remodelling or realigning services.
• Adapting existing technologies for novel purposes.

By joining our community, you can benefit from:

• Access to our growing real-world change database
• Feedback on your ideas via our discussion forums and events
• Guidance on building a case for change and evaluating real-world change projects.

How to join

To join our innovation community, you need to submit:

• Share something you’ve noticed that needs to change
• A change that you’re planning or your service evaluation via our survey tool
• An evaluated pilot, project or programme.

You can share this with RCOT by submitting an improvement journey which is a semi structured mixed methods questionnaire based loosely on the model of improvement.

It takes 15-30 mins to complete depending on the stage of idea.
