2026 Southeastern Indigenous Coalition Environmental Conference: Rising as a Wave

2026 Southeastern Indigenous Coalition Environmental Conference: Rising as a Wave

7 Directions of Service's Southeastern Indigenous Coalition Environmental Conference: Rising as a Wave will take place from the afternoon of Friday April 10th to the afternoon of Sunday April 12th, weaving panel discussions, creative practice, ceremony and intergenerational dialogue.

We'll spend the weekend together at a beautiful rustic venue in Occaneechi Saponi territory in Saxapahaw, NC. There are single day and weekend-long passes, as well as camping packages (equipment not provided). Virtual attendance is also an option.

Our 2026 themes include: Youth Leaders Circle, Emboldening Conservation through Rights of Nature, Indigenous Perspectives on AI & Data Centers and Protecting Sacred Places.

While this weekend centers Indigenous voices and solutions to the overlapping crises of our time, all are welcome to participate as our guests.

Environmental activists, policymakers, scientists, and allies – join us to learn, connect and help foster Indigenous-led environmental justice and community resilience in the Southeast. We are Rising as a Wave.
