RENMOZ in Europe
Mozambique is advancing its energy transition agenda, supported by abundant renewable resources and growing electricity demand. Building on successful events organized in previous years, RENMOZ in Europe seeks to scale up these efforts through a coordinated Team Europe approach under the Global Gateway framework.
Happening on the 17th and 18th of March 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, RENMOZ in Europe will be a high-level investment forum to showcase the high-quality Investment Pipeline of on-grid, transmission and off-grid projects in Mozambique, breaking down the different business opportunities across the Project’s value chain
Foreseeing around 150 participants, this Forum intends to connect European expertise, technology, and finance with Mozambique’s energy project pipeline, strengthening procurement quality, fostering joint bidding, and accelerating investment in clean energy infrastructure.
This Forum will facilitate high-quality networking opportunities, structured B2B and B2G meetings, to connect investors, financiers, and private sector partners, towards concrete consortia formation, MoUs and partnerships.
This event is organized as part of a pre-agenda “Road to RENMOZ 2026”, with the main event, RENMOZ 2026, happening in Maputo, 9-12 June.
Objectives
• Showcase Mozambique as an investment destination and accelerate Team Europe participation in Mozambique’s clean-energy tenders, aligned with the Global Gateway strategy;
• Enhance market and investment readiness by informing about the business environment, regulatory framework, and market opportunities and challenges;
• Promote a Pipeline of priority investment projects for the European private sector and financial institutions;
• Facilitate high-quality networking that leads to concrete partnerships and financing opportunities, including through DFIs, private investors, and innovative funding;
• Encourage targeted discussions that move beyond networking to deal-making.

RENMOZ 2026
RENMOZ 2026, from 9 to 12 of June, as part of the Global Gateway Business Forum EU-Mozambique, is the 5th edition of the largest renewable energy business conference in Mozambique.
Following the success of last year’s Conference that counted with more than 550 in-person participants from 46 nationalities, this year edition will come with a new format – focused on accelerating business and investment for the implementation of projects on the ground.
The main innovation of this 5th edition is a pre-agenda that includes:
• An international roadshow, to promote Mozambique as an investment destination internationally - RENMOZ in Europe.
• A national roadshow, to engage other regions and business areas, leveraging national private sector participation in RENMOZ
• Project pipeline preparation, of on-grid, transmission and off-grid projects, breaking down the different business opportunities across the Project’s value chain.
