RENMOZ 2026
RENMOZ 2026, June 9-12, the 5th edition of Mozambique's largest renewable energy business conference returns in 2026 with a new format – focused on accelerating business and investment for the implementation of projects on the ground.
Following the success of last year's conference, which attracted more than 550 participants from 46 countries, RENMOZ will continue to assert itself as a representative platform for the entire sector and a space for dialogue and meeting for all stakeholders.
This event will be a central space for political and business dialogue on the implementation of the Energy Transition Strategy, strengthening the link between public policies, sectoral planning, and the mobilization of private investment, and contributing to accelerating the achievement of national energy transition goals, universal access to energy, and sustainable economic development.
Organized by the Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER) and ALER, in partnership with the European GET.invest program, with the support of the European Union. These initiatives are also part of the Mozambique-European Union Partnership and the priorities of the Global Gateway.
It should also be noted that RENMOZ 2026 will be integrated into the Global Gateway Mozambique–EU Business Forum, which will take place between June 8 and 10, 2026, reinforcing the strategic coherence and international visibility of the event.
RENMOZ 2026 will:
- Showcase Mozambique as an investment destination in the energy sector, aligned with the Global Gateway strategy;
- Enhance market, projects and investment readiness by informing about the business environment, regulatory framework, and market opportunities and challenges;
- Promote a national pipeline of priority investment projects for the Mozambican private sector and international financial institutions;
- Facilitate high-quality networking that leads to concrete partnerships and financing opportunities, including through DFIs, private investors, and innovative funding;
- Encourage targeted discussions and matchmaking that move beyond networking to deal-making.
