Multiconsult supports the Mozambican Government in facilitating private sector investments in the renewable energy sector.
Multiconsult is a Norway based international engineering consulting advisory firm that helps the public sector and private investors navigating the complex renewable energy sector in a period of reform, enabling the implementation of the energy solutions of the future. We work to strengthen the investment frameworks of a range of African power markets – through capacity building and policy advisory towards the public sector, and through transactions advisory, market analysis and other advisory to the private sector in renewable energy project development. Multiconsult believe in continuous stakeholder engagement along the entire value chain of the energy sector, while maintaining a keen eye on pragmatism and focus on results. We take a holistic approach to solve the challenging and pressing problems of the sector, such as the energy access, transparency, predictability and good governance, and perceived risk of investment by international players.
Multiconsult is the Implementation Consultant for the GET FiT Programmes, which are tender programmes targeting private investors. GET FiT Mozambique I targets Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage IPPs, while GET FiT Minigrids targets mini-grids developers for establishment and operation of isolated grids in remote areas of the country.
