Hlamara Energy is an accredited vendor to Sasol Energy for the Scope of Installation and Maintenance of Solar PV Projects for Sasol Energy Retail Outlets. The company has therefore initiated the development, engineering, design, finance, procurement, installation, operation and maintenance of solar PV systems on fuel retail outlets for the supply of competitive clean energy through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) to fuel retail outlets operators in South Africa. The solar PV systems will therefore be transferred to fuel retail operators after 20 years for the remaining 10 years lifespan.
Hlamara Energy (Pty) LimitedWe are a South African start-up BEE youth owned solar PV project developer, EPCM and O&M contractor based in Pretoria. We are focused on commercial rooftop applications and positioning as an ideal BEE partner for utility-scale PV projects, supported by a young dynamic workforce with a collective experience of 50 years in the energy industry. We are a subsidiary of Hlamara Group, which is developing Africa’s only vertical-integrated solar PV project with interests in silica mining and developing a silicon smelter in Rustenburg (North West) and manufacture of solar PV cells & panels in Emalahleni (Mpumalanga) and Upington (Northern Cape).
