The Future Society (TFS) is an independent nonprofit organization based in the US and Europe with a mission to align AI through better governance. Since its incorporation in 2016, TFS has been a leading civil society voice championing human safety and fundamental values through its work in AI governance. TFS makes ongoing contributions to the work of governmental, intergovernmental, and standards-setting organizations, and convenes The Athens Roundtable on AI and the Rule of Law, the premier international, multi-stakeholder forum focused on the nexus of artificial intelligence and legal systems.
