Information
The landscape of drug development is undergoing a profound transformation with the rise of new therapeutic modalities. These innovations expand the possibilities of medicine beyond traditional small molecules and monoclonal antibodies, opening unprecedented opportunities to treat complex and previously intractable diseases. Among them, nucleic acid–based therapeutics have emerged as one of the most impactful classes. Their clinical success, however, depends heavily on effective delivery systems, with lipid nanoparticles serving as the primary delivery vehicle. This presentation highlights how automation is reshaping the development of nucleic acid therapeutics and their delivery platforms through high-throughput workflows powered by state-of-the-art robotics and advanced analytical technologies. We will also share our progress, challenges, and insights in realizing end-to-end digitalization and applying AI/ML to further enhance these automated solutions. Together, these innovations point toward a new paradigm in new modality drug development.
