Challenging Substances: CMRs, Endocrine Disruptors, and SOCs

This session will focus on the regulatory evolution affecting key challenging substances—such as CMRs (carcinogenic, mutagenic, or reprotoxic substances), endocrine disruptors, and other Substances of Concern (SOCs)—particularly within the fragrance sector. Special attention will be given to the latest and upcoming changes in classification and labelling (CLP), as well as the growing number of substances potentially subject to restrictions. The presentation will address how these changes may impact the formulation, labelling, and marketability of fragrance ingredients, and how companies can anticipate and adapt to this shifting regulatory landscape.
