We stand on the shoulders of giants

Established in April 2014, we are a joint venture between Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (Vestas). Our parent companies are two of the global leaders in wind and energy, inspiring and leading us forward.

Our track record in offshore wind dates back to 1995, but in onshore wind our roots can be traced back to the 70’s. We are founded and guided by experience, proven technology and a trusted partnership approach.

We like this planet. And we believe that by harnessing the power of wind, we can help safe guard it. We are collaborative at heart and believe that together with our industry peers and partners we can ensure that offshore wind is not only an alternate energy source, but a stable, affordable and key part of the energy mix.

Our vision is therefore, “to be a leading player in the offshore industry by co-developing offshore wind as a financially viable and sustainable energy source to benefit future generations.”e are an international organisation with more than 3000 employees, in offices across Europe, the Asia Pacific region and in the United States. No matter where in the world we sit and what our tasks are, one thing is certain; we all believe in wind.

Our HQ is located in Aarhus, Denmark, a country abundant with wind pioneers and innovators who share this belief.
