Energy Central, (www.energycentraluk.co.uk) is a unique partnership between Northumberland County Council, Port of Blyth, Advance Northumberland and the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult at Blyth.
The ambition is bold. We aim to build upon the success of the low carbon, offshore energy, subsea and advance manufacturing capability within the area to deliver a significant portside manufacturing hub for the next generation of wind turbines in order to stimulate job creation for local people and economic impact for our communities enabled through the growth of the offshore energy sector at the Port of Blyth. This has direct alignment with supporting the UK Governments Levelling up agenda.
