Turbett Surgical produces the Instrument Pod, a rigid container with a 15 tray capacity. Implementing the Pods has been shown to save an hour per day per room through its reduction in turn-over time. It has been clinically proven to reduce tray rejection rate. The Pod, developed with OR and SPD teams, lets it single filter inspection occur before trays are committed to a sterile field, following AORN guidelines.
