Improving Monitoring with Prometheus & Grafana

OpenNebula's built-in monitoring subsystem has traditionally collected essential information about Hosts and Virtual Machines, including hypervisor status, performance indicators, VM status, and capacity utilization. In this session we will present the new advanced integration with the Prometheus monitoring and alerting toolkit, as well as the new dashboards based on Grafana’s open source analytics and visualization platform. Join us to learn from the Grafana team about the latest features in Prometheus, and to discover how RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) is using Prometheus for monitoring their datacenter infrastructure and helping us identify potential enhancements and new features to support as part of future versions of this Prometheus integration.
