An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic/innovative nurse to join the Multi-disciplinary team on Neptune Respiratory Unit, as a band 5 Staff Nurse. It is currently an exciting time for our Team as we are setting up 2 new Respiratory High Care Areas within the Unit. We have a total of 44 beds, 19 of which are High Care. The nursing staff work across the whole unit and are skilled in managing a variety of respiratory conditions and have many competencies which include Tracheostomies, Chest Drains, NIV and CPAP. You must have excellent communication skills and strive for high standards of nursing care at all times. Staff are invested in the exciting future of this unit and are always looking for ways to improve and move forward as a team. The education of staff is a high priority for the Management Team on Neptune; therefore you will have regular appraisals and support for your career development. It is essential that all staff maintain their skills and competencies and improve their knowledge in order to give the highest standard of care possible.
