Senior Theatre Practitioner/Team Leader (Urology/ General Theatres) Band 6

We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic registered practitioner to join our theatre team as a team leader. As a team leader you will be expected to take an active role in co-ordinating the day to day running of the department and be expected to make decisions and problem solve as needed. As a key member of the senior team, you will deliver high standards of perioperative care and have the ability to support and develop theatre practitioners to facilitate excellent patient care in theatres. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and the drive and motivation necessary to successfully lead and prioritise the demands of a busy and challenging environment. You must be a qualified RGN or ODP and posses a desire to support learners in practice. Previous experience in Colorectal or Urology surgery would be desirable.
