Specialist Nurse - Renal Band 6

An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated individuals with at least 2 years recent renal experience to join the Chronic Kidney Disease Team. In the CKD department you will assist in the management of patients with all aspects of chronic kidney disease, co-ordinating care programmes for preparation for dialysis and also for patients being managed conservatively. You will be involved in anaemia management for patients with CKD. You will also participate in clinics off site at Walsall and Cannock, either nurse-led or as part of the MDT. You will need to be a competent/confident individual as you will be required to work autonomously and will manage your own caseload of patients. You will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team and therefore must be an excellent communicator and possess excellent organisational skills. You will have evidence of relevant post registration education. You will be required to have the V300 prescribing qualification or be working towards it.
