The Forward Trust are recruiting a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner providing assessment and low intensity interventions. It is an exciting time at Forward with the recent addition of providing mental health IAPT services in prisons across Hertfordshire, Essex and Suffolk. Our services have supported thousands of people to make positive changes and build productive lives with a job, family, friends and a sense of community. What you will be doing? As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner you will work with adults on an individual face-to-face basis or through facilitating therapeutic groups and work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages and should be committed to equal opportunities. A large part of your role will be to assess a service user’s suitability for evidence based psychological interventions. You will be delivering a wide range of Cognitive Behavioural therapy based interventions to those individuals presenting with mild to moderate depression and anxiety.
