Forward are a charity that empowers people to break the often interlinked cycles of addiction or crime to move forward with their lives.
Forward has more than 25 years’ experience of working with people to build positive and productive futures and believe that anyone is capable of lasting change.
Our services cover the following five main areas of work: drug and alcohol recovery; connections with friends and family; employment; housing; and health and wellbeing.
It is an exciting time at Forward with the recent addition of providing mental health IAPT services in prisons across Hertfordshire, Essex and Suffolk
Working as a Nurse for the Forward Trust in prisons and communities can be challenging at times but also incredibly rewarding. The Forward Trust provide a range of specialist treatments for clients, which includes prescribing, treatment matching, health education, group work, opiate substitution therapy, detoxification programmes, one to one counselling and the management of self-harm.
