Senior Data Engineer

At IT Patagonia, we are looking for a Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. We are seeking someone who combines a solid technical foundation with excellent communication skills. It is essential to interact with the business, collaborate with various stakeholders, and convey ideas clearly and effectively. What will your challenges be? Design product data models to make the most of the information available for the analytics team and those responsible for the product and business. Collaborate in the ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) and ELT (Extraction, Loading, and Transformation) processes of the defined data models. Cooperate with the technical team in defining the data model to provide digital solutions and new projects. Design and develop scalable, high-performance data models in the cloud and hybrid architectures. Implement and maintain best practices for data integrity, security, and governance in the developed solutions, ensuring compliance with privacy standards and regulations. What do we expect from you? Broad experience in data model design and analytics, with a solid track record of over four years in the role. Proven experience in object-oriented programming languages such as Python or Java. Strong command of SQL. Proven experience in designing and developing cloud data solutions. Analytical capacity and a methodical, autonomous work approach. Previous experience working in agile or multidisciplinary environments.
