We’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build ML solutions for search, retrieval, recommendations, and personalization. This Buenos Aires-based role requires three office days per week.
The Job
Design and deploy AI/ML systems for personalization, recommendations, content understanding, fraud detection, and next-best actions.
Build scalable batch inference pipelines and reliable, low-latency applications.
Develop taxonomies, ontologies, classification, tagging, and entity-understanding systems to improve discovery.
Apply graph databases, knowledge graphs, and graph techniques to retrieval and recommendations.
Improve ML quality using relevance, ranking, coverage, engagement, and long-term value metrics.
Collaborate with ML, data, engineering, product, and business teams.
Work with Python, AWS, Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI, Terraform, Snowflake, and GitHub.
You
4+ years in machine learning, applied ML engineering, data science, or a related field, including production deployments.
Strong experience with search, ranking, recommendation, or personalization systems.
Experience building end-to-end ML systems: data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, serving, and monitoring.
Familiarity with taxonomies, entity resolution, embeddings, semantic representations, graph databases, or knowledge graphs.
Ability to scope complex projects, manage timelines, and foster collaboration.
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
A Master’s or Ph.D. in a related technical field is preferred.
