Software Engineer SR

As a Senior Software Engineer at Checkr, you will work on high-impact engineering projects that help build a fairer future for everyone. Checkr is looking for an experienced senior software engineer to join the Enterprise group, working on building integrations for Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). What You'll Do: Learn about ATS systems and the international laws governing background checks and how we comply with them at Checkr. These rules can vary significantly by country, but our platform must support them all What You Bring: 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby or Python orJavaScript (React.js), or Go. English language proficiency Strong understanding of relational databases, data structures and algorithms, Object-Relational Mapping (ORM), and REST APIs. Good development practices using Test Driven Development (TDD), Domain Driven Design (DDD), and both functional and object-oriented programming. Experience with microservices (and patterns such as Event Sourcing or API Gateways).
