Senior Software Engineer

This team owns tools providing expert views into media/metadata pipelines and specialized dev/deployment tools for media workflows, supporting operations teams publishing content to Disney’s DTC services. The Senior Software Engineer will: Develop web apps using React with strong dev fundamentals and design principles (OOP or functional); manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables; contribute to a collaborative, innovative culture; build quality products; provide on-call support as needed. What we need from you: 4+ years of software engineering experience; Bachelor’s in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Frontend and backend experience with React, Python, Java, or JavaScript Advanced English Comfort in fast-paced or startup environments; strong problem-solving and root cause analysis; excellent written/verbal communication Knowledge of Agile and Git; experience with AWS/cloud, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kafka/Kinesis/SQS (plus); familiarity with media player integration, accessibility, modern web tech, and async programming (plus).
