Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We combine creativity and tech to support storytelling and scale our platforms. Media Engineering drives the core tech behind Disney streaming. The Content Library team owns metadata systems that shape user experiences. We’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on deployment and ML platforms to enhance metadata quality, entity resolution, and duplicate detection—high-impact challenges at scale. This is an infrastructure-focused role, responsible for operationalizing ML models. You’ll develop pipelines, deploy services, and collaborate with global teams to scale our ML platform. Success requires strong AWS/cloud skills, MLOps expertise, and a mindset for iteration. Responsibilities: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and services Lead the ML deployment lifecycle: features, inference, monitoring Collaborate with ML teams to bring models to production Develop services in Python or Java using AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, S3, etc.) Automate testing, validation, and continuous delivery Ensure system reliability and performance through observability Promote best practices in MLOps and scalable architecture Basic Qualifications: 4+ years in backend engineering (Python/Java) Experience deploying ML models to production Strong AWS skills (SageMaker, Lambda, Glue, etc.) Proficient in data pipelines, monitoring, and feature engineering Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) Advanced English Nice to Have: Kafka/Kinesis, NLP, Elasticsearch, feature stores, ReactJS
