Security Operation Center Lead

Required skills and aptitudes: At least two years in a similar role. 5+ years of experience in securing endpoints, servers, infrastructures and networks Strong leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize and execute autonomously. Practical experience on incident response scenarios. Knowledge in emerging technologies and tactics used within a SOC, and how they are applied to improve efficiency and effectiveness Understanding of tactics, techniques and procedures associated with cyber threats and the ability to develop relevant alerting, countermeasures, and threat hunting techniques. Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, networking, operating systems and endpoint security. Experience with supporting security technologies such as firewalls, proxies, web and email filters, application whitelisting, sandboxing, SIEM, threat intelligence, vulnerability scanning, syslog, IDS/IPS, DLP, etc. Strong understanding of security operations technologies including SIEM and orchestration Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures Articulate complex technical security issues into business terms and share that information with stakeholders in different departments.
