Meet the "Fantastic Four!" During this ignite style session, each vendor will have 15 minutes to present and answer questions.

  1. Connect with Creative New England on CreativeGround.org (It’s free!) - Join New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) to learn about CreativeGround, the dynamic directory that celebrates our region's artists, creatives, culture bearers, arts and culture organizations and creative businesses. Hear how libraries and librarians can use it to: Discover and contact regional and local artists to hire for exhibits, performances, classes, and other creative activities; find performers eligible for NEFA’s New England States Touring (NEST) grants, which can subsidize the fees you pay artists for library programs; help library patrons find creative collaborators and resources in your locale; and keep your own library’s profile updated and relevant – helping our whole creative community get #FoundOnCreativeGround.

  4. Sing Me a Story - Sing Me A Story is a professional development workshop for early childhood educators and children's librarians who wish to strengthen, enliven, and widen their learning spaces through song, a free and powerful tool that children's bodies are hardwired for. Research shows the link between singing and acquisition of early literacy skills is essential. Singing together activates our brains, bodies, and hearts, and makes us healthier and happier.Facilitated by Emilia Dahlin, award-winning singer-songwriter and teaching artist, participants learn about the science of singing and how it supports the whole child, early literacy skills, tips for leading songs with more confidence, methods for working with diverse groups, ideas for pairing songs with books, and making learning spaces more musical.
