PSI provides integrated research and development services to deliver products and solutions to commercial and government customers. It is a 100% employee-owned company with a staff of 300, many with advanced degrees in fields such as chemistry, biology, physics, and materials sciences as well as electrical, aeronautical, and mechanical engineering. PSI’s staff works closely with government acquisition offices, prime contractors, and commercial customers early in the development of technology. Our expertise allows PSI to provide interdisciplinary solutions in fields such as combustion systems, electrochemistry, electro-mechanics, optoelectronics, medical imaging, and photonics. PSI has successfully transitioned advanced technologies to support missions of the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and Energy as well as NIH and NASA.
