This paper investigates the integration of various listening cultures with a focus on the Thai electronic music scene through an audiovisual performance on a multichannel sound system. Drawing from previous multichannel audiovisual livecoding performances such as sky@kys: ls -a and dadadadadatadada, which were spatialized through manual sound diffusion, this paper examines how audiovisual livecoding performance can operate in a fixed-channel multichannel setting. Building on the development of the TEAMSmulch sound diffusion system and its deployment in both academic and non-academic contexts in Thailand, this paper proposes a compositional framework that combines diffusion-based and algorithmic approaches to real-time audiovisual performance. It also offers an analysis of the multichannel listening culture and spaces in Thailand that influenced the compositional style of the prototypical work Spatialized Algorithms, situating it within the larger discourse on spatialized performance and audiovisual livecoding practices.
