Information

The Proliner played an essential role in a countertop project for the Michelin-starred restaurant Pétrus in London. Classico Marble is a stone fabricator family owned company from the United Kingdom founded in 1995. They are specialized in natural Italian stone such as granite, marble and quartz and offer services that cover every aspect of stone, from material selection, manufacturing to installation. In 2015 the company invested in its first Proliner Stone Package for the creation of digital templates and they were so quickly convinced about the Proliner’s capabilities that they decided to get another one. Recently, the company worked on a project for the Ramsay group; adding a stone worktop in the Michelin-starred restaurant Pétrus, in London. The prestigious restaurant is named after one of the world’s finest red wines therefore the kitchen also has a red theme. The stone provided by Classico Marble should also suit the theme of the kitchen and the wine perfectly. Therefore a red onyx worktop was chosen and installed by Classico Marble for Pétrus and the Proliner was used for this special renovation. Scott, operation manager from Classico Marble: ‘’The Proliner helped massively with this project, It allowed us to measure exactly what we needed in a short time. This was perfect as this enabled us to quickly template with minimal disruption for the chefs in the kitchen.’’ He continues: “We are extremely satisfied with the Proliner and we have two Proliners in action every day. The Proliners minimise the time the templaters spend on-site and this allows us to template more projects in a day. It also gives us the complete project data, so if clients make a change we don’t have to go on-site again, saving us money and time.’’
