What time should I arrive at the venue?
Check-in and arrival is between 9am and 9:45am. Please aim to arrive at the venue between these times. You will still be allowed entry after 9:45am, but please be cautious not to disturb the ongoing session.
Where is the conference located?
The conference is located on the 8th floor of 11 Portland Street, Manchester, M1 3HU.
As this is a shared building space, please be mindful of other tenants and follow the signs to ‘etc.Venue’ or ask a member of reception/security.
What is the agenda for the conference?
The morning will focus on M&A insights with 3 keynote speakers and a panel session.
The afternoon is dedicated to a 1:1 networking session which takes place over 2 hours.
Breaks and lunch will take place throughout the day.
Will there be food and beverage during the conference?
A light breakfast will be provided in the morning, which includes fruit, yogurts and pastries.
A full buffet lunch will be provided.
Light snacks, cold beverages, tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.

How much of my profile do I need to complete?
Our conference is designed to bring together M&A professionals with an informative morning, followed by an afternoon of networking.
By completing your profile as much as you can, you will increase your chances of connecting with people you wish to meet. Your profile will be available to other attendees to send/receive invites for 1:1 meetings.
How can I view other attendees?
The attendee list will become available closer to the conference date. You will be notified via email once this becomes available.
Only ticket holders will be able to view the full attendee list.
How long will there be for networking?
The dedicated networking session will take place in the afternoon after all keynotes, the panel and lunch.
The networking session will take place over 2 hours.
How do I set up a 1:1 meeting?
The meeting functionality list will be available closer to the conference date, and you will be notified when this becomes available.
Once you find the person you wish to meet with, first send an invite to connect. Without a connection, you cannot set up a meeting.
Once the recipient has accepted, you can request a meeting. The system will suggest a time and table based on both availabilities. Once accepted, it will be added to your schedule.
Table numbers can be found on the table.

How long does my 1:1 meeting last?
Your 1:1 meeting is automatically scheduled for 10 minutes.
There is no expectation for how many meetings you should schedule, this is open to you.
The networking session will last for 2 hours and take place in the afternoon.
