Project Pitch

Sapo 'Wild Heart' Ecolodge: The Sapo 'Wild Heart' Ecolodge is a landmark project to establish a world-class ecotourism destination in Sapo National Park, home to 40% of West Africa's remaining rainforest and a biodiversity hotspot of global significance. Pulsating core of the Upper Guinean Forest Ecosystem. Located in an area that is home to over 560+ bird species, forest elephants, western chimpanzees, Pygmy hippopotamuses and more. We offer a unique blend of luxury, adventure, and cultural immersion, positioning Liberia as a global leader in conservation and sustainable tourism. This project will transform a conservation challenge into a national asset, creating a powerful new narrative for the nation. Business Model: Our self-sustaining model is built on a public-private partnership. Revenue is generated from high-value, low-impact tourism, including luxury accommodations, guided wildlife safaris, and authentic cultural experiences. Every dollar spent by a tourist generates over two dollars for the local economy and conservation efforts, creating a virtuous cycle of protection and economic benefit. The target market includes luxury adventure travelers, ornithologists, and conservation-minded tourists. Operations: Operations will be managed by a private sector partner, adhering to a strict "Touch the Earth Lightly" philosophy with 100% renewable energy and sustainable practices. The Liberia National Tourism Authority will provide oversight. The project will create direct employment for local communities in hospitality, guiding, and park protection, making them the strongest protectors of the ecosystem.
