Project Pitch
Robertsport Surf Resort: Robertsport is a town located in Grand Cape Mount County named after Joseph Jenkins Roberts, the first president of Liberia. It lies on the Cape Mount peninsula, a spit of land that separates the brackish lagoon Lake Piso from the Atlantic Ocean. Known as a surfer's paradise in Africa, it is a safe, peaceful, and welcoming community. It has year-round warm weather and long waves offering an abundance of surf spots, thrilling waves, and a vibrant surf culture. It has the historic cottonwood tree into which freed American slaves carved their names in 1829. Home to Liberia’s Largest lake (Lake Piso) and famous for fishing with high tourism potential for sport fishing, and rich in cultural heritage. Government incentives for tourism investment. Due to its high traffic for surf lovers, it is becoming a high attraction for tourism, but it lacks the right infrastructure. Building a resort by the beach gives you a first-mover advantage as well as a faster return on investment.
