A9: Investing in Infrastructure – 10 lessons from (almost) 30 years

Investing in infrastructure requires a long-term orientation and we’ve been partnering with communities to finance, build and operate essential infrastructure including utilities, roads, airports, rail, ports and telecommunications networks, since 1994. More recently (since 2005) we’ve also been driving sustainable infrastructure solutions to help accelerate the transition to net zero. Over the years, and a number of economic cycles, we have learned a few things along the way. We reflect on our experience and attempt to distil it into 10 lessons to take forward.
