(Senior) Research Associate (large molecules)

https://ric-biologics.com/join-us/ Responsibilities You will be working on the development and application of innovative chromatographic and mass spectrometric methodologies for the in-depth analysis and characterisation of various biopharmaceutical products. You will be involved in a variety of projects with biotech, pharma and academic partners. You manage the work at experiment/task level and design experiments together with your supervisor. You are responsible for the execution based upon the specific instructions and you do the first analysis of the data you generate. You document and analyse the data and write basic reports of your results. In the Senior RA role you take up reporting and communication when participating in client meetings. During longer experimental set-ups you analyse and link data in a coherent data set. In this Senior RA role you also coach and instruct more junior RAs. Your profile Good knowledge of protein chemistry, protein analytical methods and protein characterisation Expertise with HPLC and/or mass spectrometry is a definite plus Passion for working in the laboratory Critical mind set and good sense for initiative, quality, accuracy and detail Team player, problem solver mentality and flexible attitude You are well organised and can manage your daily activities Driven to deepen your expertise in the fascinating field of protein analytics Good communication skills (fluent in English, written and spoken) BSc or MSc in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedicine, pharmacy or equivalent qualification due to experience For Senior RA at least +5 years expertise in the field Our offer We offer you a challenging job in a fascinating, dynamic and international environment.
