Information

As quantum computing (QC) advances, its integration with high-performance computing (HPC) is becoming a critical topic for both researchers and industry leaders. While QC holds the promise of solving complex problems beyond the reach of classical supercomputers, significant challenges remain in making hybrid HPC-QC workflows practical and scalable.

This talk will explore the key challenges in bridging HPC and QC, including hardware and software integration, workload partitioning, and the need for new programming paradigms. We will discuss how quantum processors can complement HPC for applications in optimization, machine learning, and simulation, as well as the technical and economic considerations for HPC centers looking to incorporate QC into their infrastructure.

Quandela, a European leader in photonic quantum computing, is actively working to accelerate HPC-QC convergence. We will present our approach to seamless quantum integration, including our MosaiQ platform, cloud-based quantum access, and the role of Perceval, our open-source framework, in making quantum computing accessible to HPC users. By aligning with industry standards and fostering collaboration, Quandela aims to drive adoption and pave the way for the future of hybrid quantum-classical computing.

Join us to discuss the evolving HPC-QC landscape, its challenges, and the roadmap toward practical quantum-enhanced HPC.
