DUG Nomad is a line of mobile, modular data centers built for resilience, rapid deployment, and high-performance computing (HPC) exactly where it's needed.
Crafted from decades of expertise, DUG Nomad combines proven hardware, software, and infrastructure to create a cutting-edge solution. At its core is DUG's patented immersion-cooling technology, DUG Cool, which ensures sustainable, reliable compute and storage capabilities. Immersion cooling works by submerging electronic components like servers and GPUs in a special dielectric fluid that absorbs and dissipates heat.
This fluid is non-conductive, preventing short-circuits while efficiently cooling the components.
The DUG Cool system has been honed over a decade of use in DUG’s data centers, some of the world’s largest immersion-cooled facilities. It provides proven scalability and strong returns on investment. DUG’s single-phase immersion cooling keeps the dielectric fluid in liquid form, absorbing heat that is transferred to a heat exchanger for cooling. This approach reduces power consumption by up to 51% compared to traditional air-cooled data centers and cuts water usage by up to 25%.
