Information
The integration of quantum computing with high-performance computing (HPC) is critical to unlocking quantum’s full future potential for real-world applications and discovery. However, the software stack bridging from various quantum hardware types to HPC systems to user communities remains a significant challenge and work in progress. This panel will explore the current state, key challenges, and future directions of hybrid quantum-HPC software, covering the spectrum from low-level hardware abstraction to high-level application development.
Experts from industry, academia, and supercomputing centers will discuss the essential components of the hybrid software ecosystem, including programming models, resource orchestration, error mitigation strategies, and performance optimization. The conversation will also highlight emerging standards, co-design efforts, and what frameworks are needed to be able to support practical use cases demonstrating quantum-HPC synergy in scientific computing and industry applications.
