For over a century, aviation has made our world a much more connected and accessible place, providing unprecedented economic opportunity, serving communities and helping resolve crises.
High-performance computing was among the key enablers of this evolution supported by massive progress in the semiconductor industry over the last decades. Just now with Moorse law coming to an end, even more computational power will be needed for aviation's transformation towards sustainable flying. This keynote will illustrate how high performance computing profoundly impacts aerospace. It will demonstrate Airbus activities in computing and its contribution to pushing the limits of today's capabilities. We take a look at the future opportunities including quantum computing to scale up the solutions we build.
