In its 33-year history, MEGWARE Computer Vertrieb und Service GmbH has established itself as one of Europe's leading supercomputing specialists. Since its foundation in 1990, the Chemnitz based company has been able to draw on extensive experience in the development and installation of High Performance Computing (HPC) systems and Linux clusters. MEGWARE has delivered and installed approximately 1,700 high-performance computers to research institutes, universities, and industry customers throughout Europe.

Roughly seventy percent of HPC installations are built for academic customers, driving research in areas such as physics, mathematics, biochemistry, climate and genomics. Industrial customers of MEGWARE mainly come from the automotive and pharmaceutical industry.

The service portfolio ranges from competent planning prior to purchase, through production and testing of the complete system to turnkey installation including the desired service and support.

MEGWARE has implemented advanced ideas and designed products by outstanding in-house hardware and software developments that help MEGWARE lead the way in the sector.
