Improving storage performance by moving metadata closer to the CPU

With the ever-increasing performance of CPUs and the increasing performance of storage one of the key issues becomes metadata performance. In this talk, we will look at how the CROIT DAOS platform can help with this challenge as well as looking at how the platform makes use of userspace IO paths to improve the performance of the overall storage platform.
