In Qatar, HPC is playing a key role in addressing the needs of the country’s research portfolio. Thanks to continuous generous funding from Qatar Foundation R&D, our group has been leading HPC activities in the country since 2008. Today, more than 120 users are using the existing HPC infrastructure at Texas A&M University at Qatar. The processing power has increased from 1 TFlops in 2008 to 120 TFlops in 2017 and this will not stop here. In this presentation we will give an overview of the activities and future directions.
