The University of Liverpool is a place where people thrive through inspiring education and innovative research. We are the original redbrick, a historic part of the city of Liverpool for nearly 150 years and a founding member of the prestigious Russell Group. Since 1881, our aim has been the same: the advancement of learning and ennoblement of life.
Launching in July 2025, the Liverpool Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Centre (LINC), will be a world-leading centre for translational and clinical neuroscience research, bringing together NHS Foundation Trusts within Brain Health Northwest (the Walton Centre, Mersey Care and Alder Hey), and the University of Liverpool. This new centre of excellence will focus on developing, testing, and implementing pioneering diagnostics, treatments, and interventions designed to significantly enhance the quality of life for individuals with neurological conditions. By building upon the existing strengths and proven track record of the faculties and institutions, LINC is poised to initiate a transformative improvement in health outcomes for people with neurological conditions.
